Beijing Capital Airport is known as Capital Airport (airport code PEK), and is located in the north-east of Beijing’s urban district. It is 25.35 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square and is the international aviation hub featuring the most important geographical position, largest scale, most complete equipment and busiest transportation and production in China.
Beijing Capital Airport is the only domestic international airport in China that features three runways and three terminal buildings. It is necessary for passengers to identify their terminals before boarding. Roadside ferry push cars which connect three terminals T1, T2 and T3 are available in the airport, allowing passengers to conveniently change flights in different terminals.
