Los Angeles[Brief Introduction]
Los Angeles International Airport (airport code LAX) is adjacent to the Pacific Ocean and lies about 15 miles (24 kilometers) to the southwest of the downtown of Los Angeles. Occupying an area of 3425 acres (14sk.km.), it boasts the third largest airport in America as well as the busiest passenger transport airport in California. Flights travel to and from Los Angeles International Airport to all over North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.
There are nine terminals in total at Los Angeles International Airport, consisting of Terminal 11-Terminal 18 and Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). These nine terminals are arranged in a U-shape and shuttle buses are provided to transport passengers between the terminals.
