Ticketing

• Passengers must comply with the "Civil Aviation Law of People's Republic of China", "Terms and Conditions" and the relevant provisions issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China and adhere to the stated conditions for online ticket booking.
• Ticket buyers will be required to provide true, detailed and accurate information, and promptly update this information should it undergo any changes. If any untrue and inaccurate information provided by buyers results in any losses incurred to the Company, ticket holders or buyers and other parties, ticket buyers shall be responsible for compensating all losses incurred thereof.
• Ticket buyers shall strictly comply with regulations set by government authorities regarding valid documentation and certificates required for boarding civil aviation flights, ensure the legitimacy and effectiveness of certificates from Passengers, and take responsibility for any consequences arising from inconsistent names or invalid certificates and other issues.
• During online booking, the buyer shall truthfully fill out personal data and passenger contact information; any economic losses resulting from unclear or unavailable information given during the ticket booking process must be borne by the passenger.
• Special (fare) passengers (including VIP passengers, injured passengers, disabled passengers, passengers bound to stretchers, soldiers and policemen disabled during the revolution, pregnant women, unaccompanied elderly and unaccompanied children, student tickets, teachers tickets, elderly tickets etc.) need to apply for special services (including passengers to reserve special meals, seats, and wheelchairs etc). Please contact a sales department of China Eastern Airlines regarding special services and ticket booking or call the Customer Service Hotline 1-626-583-1500 for more information, as China Eastern Airlines does not accept booking of online applications by the above-mentioned special (fare) passengers.
• Children of ages between 2 years and 12 years must buy children's tickets subject to departure date. Valid proof of date of birth must be provided for buying children's tickets. Children can only board in the company of an adult. Child ticket buyers are under obligation to bear any adverse consequences caused from incorrect information given for accompanying adults. If children need to board alone, please contact the sales departments of China Eastern Airlines for special services and booking information or call the Customer Service Hotline 1-626-583-1500 for information on relevant services regarding "unaccompanied children" (5 to 12 years old).
• When a buyer registers as a member of this site, he or she is responsible for keeping his or her own user name and password confidential, and must bear all losses incurred in the event of the disclosure of their user name and password.

Check-in Registration

  • Passengers must check in within 45 minutes of departure time with the valid travel certificates (passports, Taiwan Compatriot Travel Certificate, etc.) used for online booking.
Passengers who purchased their tickets through the Hong Kong Website will be requested to show a Credit card prior to boarding. The cardholder should be one of the travelers.

Applications for E-ticket Modification

• E-ticket modification refers to: changing of departure date, departure time or class of scheduled flight.
• Free changes made online by the passengers are restricted to the same class of the booked flight.
• The Customer service hotline of China Eastern Airline can be contacted by E-ticket passengers to make E-ticket modifications. Changes to E-tickets can also be made at airport counters of China Eastern Airline or at China Eastern Airlines local offices.

Passenger Certificate Number Modification

• When E-tickets have been issued to the passenger, no alterations are allowed for identification numbers, so be sure to correctly enter passenger identification numbers into "Enter Passenger Information".
• If the passenger name contains any rare Chinese characters unidentified in the system, please enter unidentified Chinese characters in Pinyin into the "Passenger Name" area. In this case the passenger must resolve this issue at a China Eastern Airline counter before check-in.

Passenger Name Change

• The passenger name cannot be altered after the E-ticket has been issued. Ensure to correctly enter the passenger name in “Enter Passenger Information” screen.
• If the passenger name contains any rare Chinese characters unidentified in the system, please enter unidentified Chinese characters in Pinyin into the "Passenger Name" area. In this case the passenger must resolve this issue at a China Eastern Airline counter before check-in.

Refunds

 Refunds can be obtained at China Eastern Airlines local offices.

Ticket Verification

Passengers who have purchased E-tickets from China Eastern Airlines can visit the official website of China Eastern Airlines for ticket verification; the passenger may check the authenticity and validity of their E-ticket by entering their ticket number and passenger name.
